Nokia N9: Hot or not?

Nokia is trying to catch the wind of changes and after their decision to fire 7000 employees by 2013 (mostly all Symbian OS teams) they suddenly jumped over the bar and hanging on it with the help of the teeth. I really hope their newborn Nokia N9 will be a base to something new and fresh! Just take a look at the photos made by Laura Jul and read more details under the cut.

The new smartphone is called Nokia N9 – and with N9 everything is just a swipe away. So they say on their website. And so it is!

Cannes Lions - Russia on cord

21 June This day has started with awesome news - Russian Leo Burnett Moscow gained Bronze Lion in Direct with "Photoshooting" campaign for WWF. But what is most awesome, is that the day ended with 2 awesome news - Gold Lion in Outdoor for Lego again by Leo Burnett, and Bronze Lion in Media Lions for Yekaterinburg based agency Voskhod for their simple and cool campaign "Book Fresheners" for "100000 Books" stores.

Dmitry Karpov - the tutor of a Moscow based British High School of Art & Design recently shared an awesome news: Russian students took D&AD Yellow Pencil (2nd place) in Digital Design/Graphic design (no 1st place in a category for this year) and Silver Pencil for Interactive Design by Marina Tristan and 4 In Book awards!

Svetlana Shokhanova, Nataliya Sinelshchikova, Mikhail Krivoruchko did an awesome iPad app concept for a Taschen brief. Watch the video under the cut.
