"Table for Two" is not about design, it is more about stepping out of our daily routine. The independent art nonprofit AyzART presents it in New York. "Looking at the visual identity for http://aruliden.com/work/cooklyn, a Brooklyn restaurant specializing in "micro seasonal cuisine," is like wandering into a 19th-century warehouse inhabited by cowboys and cleaned by Mary Poppins." says FastCo, and we can't disagree. This "authentic rustic chic" design system built by Aruliden is something to study or collect as an inspiration for further projects.
Few times we posted Carter's works on our Instagram, now we get our hands on his portfolio full of drawings created from a coffee cup stains. Among his most impressive pieces are his graphite drawings of motorcycles and other vehicles that rest on drippy caffeinate circles. The contrast of his detailed renderings with the sloppy coffee tires never seems to get old.
American East Coast is slowly turning to Russian Far East, and blame no one, but Earth's climate changed dramatically. You might seen a lot of snowy photos from New York and other cities last days but here is a different view on natural disaster. NYC based street artist FAUST use nothing but his fingers to create lovely lettering on car hoods covered with snow. This peaceful act of instant art makes a big smile on our faces.
Super talented Melissa Cooke draws so realistically that you would think her renderings are photographs. Instead of using pencil lines to outline her subjects and draft her compositions, she achieves incredible depth by dusting layers of graphite onto paper with a dry brush.
Brooklyn-based designer Ricardo Gonzalez focuses on lettering, typography, calligraphy & typeface design.
Two years later, he moved to Toronto to work as a freelance graphic designer, but after just four months he headed down south to his hometown of Durango, Mexico, to work full-time as an independent designer. Then, in the summer of 2014, he moved to New York City to attend Type@Cooper where he earned a typeface design diploma from Cooper Union.

Russia-born photographer Elena Kulikova raised and works in California immersed herself in a world of commercial photography at a young age. She started her career a decade ago and has been working with top editorials as well as producing self-initiated art project. In her latest, and inspired by Oliver Wendell Holmes's statement, "a mind that is stretched by a new experience can never go back to its old dimensions," photography series "Eternity" visualizes the beauty of consciousness.
Californian director Daniel Mercadante, returns with a powerful short film called “Breath”. He spent more than a year assembling this poetic montage of all the different kinds of breaths we take during life.

You may know that a half of success for any design project is its showcase. Another quarter is a story like this: "An old railway station in Los Altos, California, has been transformed into this exquisite new bakery and café by local entrepreneur Rie Rubin, with the help of the creative people at San Francisco-based design agency Character. Named Voyageur du Temps, which means time traveler in French, the café seeks to preserve the time-honoured art of baking by adding a dash of contemporary life to it. Here you will find freshly baked artisan breads and pastries, as well as a variety of courses that give a playful wink to continental breakfast staples like the Croque Monsieur and crepes with fresh fruit."

Time Slice is an ongoing series of photographs by Richard Silver that explores how iconic buildings and monuments change in appearance from day into the night. Silver shoots some 36 photos at intervals over several hours and then layers them into a final composition
A digital ode to artist Pierre Soulages. Last year in Rodez, southern France, 95-year-old French artist Pierre Soulages was honored with the opening of a rust-adorned museum in his name. Celebrated for an unconventional approach to painting using only black paint, artist manipulates the spectrum of light bouncing off the surfaces of his works, in turn conceiving a new shade of his own, "outrenoir" (meaning: “beyond black”).
Inspired by this abstract oeuvre, the New York-based visual artist and director Jonathan Turner creates an ode to Soulages, conceiving a hallucinogenic digital world that is scored by the maniacal beats of Dutch E. Germ.

Multi-talented Swiss-born filmmaker and photographer Vincent Laforet has wowed his fans with breathtaking late-night aerial photos of New York City, illuminated by the lights of a city that never sleeps. He shot the series “Night Over New York” while sitting on the edge of a helicopter flying above the Big Apple.

"These are 3-D printed sculptures designed to animate when spun under a strobe light. The placement of the appendages is determined by the same method nature uses in pinecones and sunflowers. The rotation speed is synchronised to the strobe so that one flash occurs every time the sculpture turns 137.5º—the golden angle. If you count the number of spirals on any of these sculptures you will find that they are always Fibonacci numbers" says John Edmark about the body of his work
