"Do you ever wonder what your action figures do when you’re not playing with them? One Russian photographer has turned his hypotheses into an entertaining Tumblr. Bruce Lee takes his street fighting skills to the kitchen, where he can karate chop a banana in half and make a really nice bowl of Cocoa Puffs. The Tumblr, VSE OK, features Iron Man, the Joker, Hulk, Spiderman, and others doing some things typical of their characters in a great big world." via

You might think it is too simple but I like the details of Surup Cafe identity, with no doubts that it is the best work from Sergey's Parfenov portfolio.

After triumphal (I still have unpaid bills for traffic overage) shown up on blog of Sasha Unisex tattoo works we suggest you another great Russian artist Vitaly Morozov. Check his works on Instagram and follow him as well @mvtattoo.
The surreal images of Russian photographer Ilya Kisaradov (aka ezorenier) have a level of vulnerability to them that draws the viewer's attention and allows one to empathize with each character within the frame. The photographer's subjects often exhibit a sense of confinement and isolation in nature that is heightened through props like a birdcage or even one's own hair wrapped tightly over the subject's mouth. via

Uzbekistan photographer Ravshaniya creates intriguing photographs with a decent digital manipulation

Beautiful animalistic and ornamental artworks made with ink pens and watercolour by StPete based illustrator and my university co-ed Alice Macarova. I personally admire Dali related prints pity Society6 still has no delivery to Russia.
Tania Shcheglova and Roman Noven are two emerging photographers who have been experimenting with high quality cameras since their perhaps not-so-innocent youth. From frozen lakes to empty theatre stages across Eastern Europe, the duo have snapped haunting images of the surroundings available to them, often emanating a dark or eerie mood. http://www.synchrodogs.com/
