Mighty magician of the media arts Bradley G Munkowitz was commissioned by Adobe to reimagine their logo, and he definitely brought his munkoStylez to it. GMUNK and his crew at VT Pro Design played with lasers, LEDs and optical and infrared light sources and its properties in the making 4 different Adobe Remix logos. The most awesome trailer I've watched so far. Kung Fury is an over-the-top action comedy that has it's foundation in 80s cop movies. Written & Directed by David Sandberg and baked by thousands on Kickstarter this January.

"The air is made up of many different components that are products of our environment, including pollution, moisture, and more. London-based artist Lauren Bowker and her material exploration studio THE UNSEEN have developed a form of ink that’s reactive to the different fluctuations in the wind as well as our own body. It’s demonstrated in a couture capsule collection entitled Air, which was designed for Swarovski and presented during London’s Fashion Week 2014." via

This is an ad, damn good ad as famous music video maker Jake Scott can do starring Jude Law and Giancarlo Giannini. The story of a man on a quest for a rare experience; "The Gentleman’s Wager" tells the story of a wager between two men which results in a truly rare experience as part of their quest for personal progress. Filmed in the British Virgin Islands and London, the beautifully shot film sees Law in the role of a man who, despite having it all, proposes a wager as an opportunity to challenge himself to create an original performance in order to win a money-can’t-buy experience. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kQ7kWpTrtJw&feature=youtu.be

In June 2014, the wild terrain of Kamchatka, Russia, was chosen to host this uncommon event The Nixon Surf Challenge. Ten of the best European surfers were invited to this beautiful surf destination, to battle against their own fears and human limits without the pressures of the public or the press.

You might remember that famous BOX (GMUNK at Bot Dolly) video showing the technology of directing synchronised cameras upon motion capture enhanced by projection mapping. Now enter the next level where Ballet meets Robotics. Featuring San Francisco Ballet principal dancers Maria Kochetkova and Joan Boada, "Francesca Da Rimini" is an experiment using a robotically controlled camera to capture ballet.

Look what Laurin Döpfner does with an edge sander when half a millimetre is sanded off each work piece (wood, walnut, transformer, skull or analogue camera) and photographed. About 650 photos are made into a short film, which contrasts the inner structure of nature and technology.

Hair Highway is a China-based project from nomadic design duo Studio Swine exploring the potential of human hair beyond its wildly expanding role in the beauty industry. As the world’s population increases, human hair is re-imagined as an abundant and renewable alternative to diminishing resources such as horn, tortoise shell or tropical wood. By investigating the trade and craft around the hair industry in Shangdong province, Studio Swine explores the potential of human hair by creating new materials and a collection of exquisite objects.
