SEED - The near-future of mobile technology

The year 2014 is the last break point on the way to omni-channel digital world were device is no more a single way to communicate with information and data. Here is a new concept of Mobile-powered product design system named "SEED" developed by South Africa-based computer engineering student Nick Rout. Some of you might remember Phonebloks concept acquired by Motorola and merged to still-upcoming Moto Aga project.

Monument Valley Game App

You don't need a special announce to mention the rocket start of a new iOS game "Monument Valley". Designers from "the creative silicon valley" - Shoreditch, London forming the agency UTSWO released the game being inspired by the surreal world of M.C. Escher.

"Monument Valley is an elegant puzzle game where you guide a young princess, Ida, through a maze of ruined monuments. You manipulate the landscape to let Ida get from place to place, using optical illusions to your advantage – as in Monument Valley, when walkways appear to line up, Ida can walk along them – even when you know that they really don't." via Digital Arts

Digital Classics by Paul Vera-Broadbent

It’s a mashup of classical artwork and the digital age in Paul Vera-Broadbent’s fascinating reworking of history. He’s taken the works of past masters and redone them as faceted modern day tributes that look like they could have popped out of a video game. It’s a fitting piece of work for the artist: Vera-Broadbent has worked at designing video games since age 17, now has 25 titles under his belt, and a number of BAFTA nominations. Surprisingly he uses only his iPad and the popular app Sketchbook Pro to create the images!

Few years ago a Briton called it Augmented Reality Cinema but never completed it and today we found that French Art TV channel gone further with this idea and released CINEMACITY web and mobile application. Cinemacity geolocates film excerpts throughout Paris, exactly where they were shot. Different cinewalks are available to users, enabling them to discover the city through the lens of cinema.
