Since moving from London to a remote rural hideaway, singer-songwriter duo Anna Rose Carter and Ed Hamilton, aka Dead Light, make eerie and euphoric experimental music imprinted with all the emotion expected from close-quarters production. For the latest release from their self-titled LP, the duo enlisted Berlin-based artist Susi Sie who makes textural microscopic film studies of natural forms to create an entrancing marble-like moving painting.

Alchemist Gold addresses the spiritual liberation subject from a metaphoric angle. It is a contemplative video that speaks about the human inner struggles and exposes them in an exaggerated tone. The imaginative narrative introduces symbolic elements that help set the overall ambient and mood of the story. An alchemist is captured and tied down with ropes that represent the fears that stop us from fulfilling our dreams. Our main character can only find spiritual freedom if he releases himself from the mundane chains that pull him into the self-doubt void.
