Toro Y Moi's Chaz Bundick has shared the latest music video from the new album What For?. "Lilly" is directed by HARRYS and largely takes place inside a grocery store. In the clip, he's pelted with food, lounges in the grass, and no matter what, he never takes his facial expression beyond "deadpan".
To commemorate the 70th Anniversary of the WWI ending, Google Russia invited 7 talented Russian artists and musicians to rethink the archive of the letters of war (this reminds me and probably was inspired by a nice British project called Letters of Note). The website and letters are available only on Russian http://pisma.may9.ru/. That's why we share the musical piece created by electronic composer Roma Litvinov known a Mujuice. While working with one of the war letter he decided to go with a beat build on Morse code. The phrase "War is Over" was encoded and reprocessed through the music while Roma performed with a reading of the letter.

"Perfectly posed, beautifully shot and intriguingly alluring, Fermín Cimadevilla’s Don’t for Chulius & The Filarmónicos track Do Not (Short Sandals) is a music video which could easily go toe to fabulous toe with any of the new season’s fashion films. Featuring a seductively captivating Kimberley Tell who occupies the role of muse perfectly for Cimadevilla’s uber-eroticized images, the film playfully places Tell in a variety of off-kilter positions within its carefully composed frames." via
«In a succession of shots of almost statuesque stillness, the erotomaniac beauty of English actress Kimberley Tell -an echo of the cold and sharp beauty of Cybill Shepherd- lives dangerously with a haunting death drive that is only a game, but that just happens to be the game that turns this piece into something unique and seductively captivating.» Fantastic Plastic Magazine, Spain.

The God Father of OFFF Festival and pioneer of programming art Joshua Davis has been creating some really cool visuals lately, experimenting with texture mapping (if you lucky to have your ticket for OFFF15 expect the best from him) Here he uses Tycho’s “See” video as the source and the results are way more interesting than the original Tycho video.

Continuum is a Latin word which means a series of elements that blend into on another. Inspired by the relationship between silence and music, Sofia Mattioli had the idea of creating a two minute silent film which she handed over to musicians Jamie xx, Four Tet, John Talabot and Koreless in order to record their musical interpretation of it.In collaboration with visual artist Rebecca Salvadori she rearranged the silent film to each track, responding with colour movement and shape. This full animation music video directed by Julien Lassort (Solab Production, motion by ELMO) for French band ALB is a complete immersion in a dark perpetually evolving world. On the road we will move through a succession of black and white scenes, made of skulls, girl's thighs opening mechanically in rhythm, axes beating the ground loudly and other symbols of mankind passing on earth and their consequences on nature. At the end of the road, though, we find a touch of color and hope before a space ending

"At the chorus, Parker repeats the phrase "I'm a man, woman," which could be construed as problematic. Reading those words out of context, it looks like he's using gender as a catch-all archetype. But as he sings in his tender, featherlight falsetto, he's not boasting about his masculinity—he's attempting to acknowledge that sometimes, he messes up just like anybody else." via Pitchfork
"Taken from the actress and singer’s critically acclaimed 2010 IRM album, which was produced and largely written by Beck, “Heaven Can Wait” is visually brought to life by a surreal cast of characters that includes a baby in a hotdog costume and an astronaut with pancakes for a head. Directed by Keith Schofield" via Nowness
