First Point

On June 11th, artist Richard Phillips is premiered his short film, 'First Point', featuring Lindsay Lohan, at Art Unlimited at Art Basel 2012, the most prestigious international art fair (presented by Gagosian Gallery). First Point — Phillips' third film is a collaboration between the artist, Lindsay Lohan, and the legendary surf filmmaker Taylor Steele.

Notable facts about the film: - The co-director of the film is legendary surf filmmaker Taylor Steele. Phillips and Steele collaborated with Curator & Creative Director Dominic Sidhu. - The score is by Thomas Bangalter, who is one half of the French Electric duo Daft Punk. - The editor of the movie, Jay Rabinowitz, was also the editor for 8 Mile, Requirem for a Dream, Adjustment Bureau and The Tree of Life, amongst others. - Lindsay's acknowledged surf double is Kassia Meador, one of the best female surfers in the world.

Our dear friend and valuable collaborator Sara Blake (@hellozso) launched ZSO-NYC, a store branch of personal portfolio HelloZSO.

"I'm very excited to finally announce the launch of ZSO-NYC. This project has been over a year in the making, from initial illustrations, to sampling silks, to the photoshoot, to creating custom packaging and the printed lookbook. The launch of the Tantrum Scarf is what I hope to be the first of many more projects and products. The first edition was created in a very limited run of only 50 and comes with a printed booklet and signed certificate with your edition number. All photography was shot by my dear friend John Christenson, and I served as the reluctant model. This project has been such a wonderful experience. I hope you all enjoy and perhaps even pick up your own scarf", - says Sara
