Prominent CG artist specialising in dark visuals and decorative art and fighting saint trolls online, Billelis just ran his first open competition where he invited artists and followers to complete one of his famous skull.

I would wake up every morning feeling it’s Christmas seeing all your submissions! It feels like a real museum piece. And the blending is amazing. Incredible work. • @gantelya_88 your use of colour and abstract shapes really caught my attention. It’s so vibrant and unique! Your use of anatomy and vintage medical illustrations blew my mind. It feels like what I would see if I had an acid trip in one of my favourite museums of anatomy. • @grafake.charles I love the soft vibes and textures in this. I love how you blended your piece. It feels like a scene from avatar and the glows are such a cool touch. Well done! • @christianprattvfx A few people submitted planet/geology inspired work but I love this piece so much because the topology has been shaped like a skull. It feels like some crazy pirate island you would get in a cool stylised video game.
