For those of you living under a rock, Childish Gambino dropped a video for his brand-new song “This is America” last night. Directed by Atlanta regular Hiro Murai, the politically-charged video focuses on Glover dancing in a chaotic warehouse. It's chock full of violence, deeper meaning and hidden references.
Rag & Bone’s New Fashion Film Stars Kate Mara, Ansel Elgort and Some Incredible Camerawork
Rag & Bone’s hypnotic new short film, “Why Can’t We Get Along,” created by production company 1stAveMachine and agency SpecialGuest, pulls it off seamlessly. Actors Ansel Elgort and Kate Mara, along with dancers from the American Ballet Theater, HipLet Ballerinas, YouTuber Kandi Reign and members of Bulletrun Parkour, perform choreography from Benjamin Millepied to the tune of a new song by Thom Yorke.
"The five-minute film, co-directed Millepied, Aaron Duffy and Bob Partington, was shot in one day. It weaves together footage from the different camera rigs and takes the viewer on a journey without ever putting an exclamation point on, well, the point" via Adweek
Directors Mike Burakoff & Hallie Cooper-Novack released the music video for MGMT apparently using Deep Dream AI technologies. Join the psychedelics trip below
The electronic duo Is back, as brooding as ever, and elevating their visuals to new heights. Filmed in the Salton Sea, long since dried up, the video sees band members Sarah Barthel and Josh Carter walk amongst deserted homes as motocross bikers fly through the air and digitized waves reach epic heights. There's also plenty of unexplained latex involved. The music video's dark undertones come courtesy of director Grant Singer, who has spent the last year working with The Weeknd and Ariana Grande.
"You Don't Get Me High Anymore" is the lead single off Phantogram's forthcoming album, Three.
St.Petersburg raised and NY-based Olga Bell premiered a track "Randomness" from upcoming album Tempo. Linking up with director Minister Akins, the visuals present a strong reference to the song's origin. "His poetic lighting, moody composition and hyper-musical editing elevated the work beyond anything I could have imagined on my own." Olga tells i-D Magazine
New synth goth/pop voice Zola Jesus has come a long way from her beginnings and true to form, the amazing singer (Nika Roza Danilova) feeling all of the feels in her new video for 'Dangerous Days'. It's the first single from her upcoming new album Taiga, and it's video is a beauty. While the upbeat track is a change from the artist deep, dark past work, she stays true to her mysterious aesthetic in the Tim Saccenti-directed clip. Text by Oyster Mag
Interpol announced their forthcoming fifth album, El Pintor, last month, and followed that with a live video of album track “Anywhere,” which they’d actually debuted back in March (along with another new one, “My Desire”). So “All The Rage Back Home” is the technically the third song we’ve heard from El Pintor, but it’s the first single, and the first studio recording.

Watch new Lana del Rey's highly-anticipated short film "Tropico" in its entirety. The almost 30 minutes-long, Anthony Mandler - directed visual sees Albino model Shaun Ross co-starring alongside the gorgeous New York City singer. It's a really pretty "short film". But probably something most people won't be watching more than once. We appreciate the effort, though, Lana. "Tropico" is divided in four main scenes; the Garden of Eden, the stripper club, the robbery, and the beautiful farewell in the dawn light. Lana del Rey pays homage to her legends (Marilyn, Elvis) in "Tropico" as well, and we get to finally understand some of her song lyrics. The music is featured in "Tropico" is; "Body Electric", "Gods & Monsters" and "Bel Air".

If you can think in hashtags this is all about #hiphop #art #music we can't judge it but accept it. Check the video of the Jay Z performance "Picasso Baby" directed by Mark Romanek below
This is being misunderstood, as hip hop music generally is. Jay's all about merging art and music and Picasso Baby is about rap music being the child of the merger. Doing it in this setting was perfect and putting designers and artists in the room helps to bridge the gap and allow for rap music to be portrayed in a different light.
