Illustrator Recreates Julia Child Recipes in Colored Pencil

Aoede Pando speaks for herself: "I'm a mixed-media artist and freelance illustrator. My current project is a 2016 wall calendar of illustrated recipes from Julia Child's seminal work "Mastering the Art of French Cooking". I'm hoping to share this calendar with people who love food, all things french, and Julia Child as much as I do. The project is a tribute to Julia Child's amazing career and life. I'm inspired deeply by her, as well as the use of food as a means of healing and sharing."
