““In many ways the video is a sequel to the earlier “IKÄWÄ” video, that we did for the same artist. The process for IKÄWÄ was that we went through a lot of material that we had shot during our travels and tried to find a kind of story in there. We wanted to get a similar feel to “POLUTON MAA”, but this time we knew in advance that we are shooting a music video. The final form didn’t come together until we had material from the course of a couple years. It was like a puzzle where we filled in the gaps filming more material on work trips and holidays.”

Peppered with broken beats and disorientated pads, ‘AAID’ is a journey through broken memories. James’ own wistful vocals and ticking percussion give a sense of ruminating, traveling backwards in time. A hypnotic track married with an experimental, 3D video, ‘AAID’ traverses the nostalgic echoes of a splintered relationship, told by a series of intertwining memory scenes, directed and produced by Balázs Simon (@notbalasz) & Dávid Dell’Edera.
