Director Patrick Mattes shares his latest music video: “Geographer’s “Summer of my Discontentment” is a music video about the moments in between. This video was shot over the course of a day and a half with 4 friends running around greater Los Angeles. We wanted this video to be an organic representation of adolescence, growing up, and the moments that help define us as human beings. To keep the filming aspect of this video as organic as possible we shot everything with a documentary style. Allowing the friends to exist in a space and capturing moments that made them unique.”

Yumi Zouma are a dream-pop band from New Zealand. Based in different cities around the world, the band collaborate online, and meet to play live. Following on from the success of their second album “Willowbank”, the band released the short four-track “EP III” in late 2018.
In Camera” was the first single from the EP, and has become one of the band’s most triumphant tracks, garnering large-scale plays on streaming services and quickly becoming a fan favourite. Written over the course of five years, the roots of ‘In Camera’ stem from one of the band’s very first ideas - an effervescent guitar riff that juxtaposes minimalist production, reflective vocal melodies, and a driving bassline reminiscent of the band’s earliest material.
Pavel Brenner is a film director based in Los Angeles who was born and raised in Russia. After working in advertising as a graphic designer and art-director, he enlisted in the film program at Art Center College of Design as a cinematographer and director. After graduating, Pavel directed a critically acclaimed music video “Acid Rain” for electronic artist Lorn, and later another music video for a French electronic artist Brodinski, called “Split”. The project for Yumi Zouma also brought Pavel to a new field - producing.

Each quatrain of a song is represented by a single shot scene that the viewer gets to see only once as a part of a video puzzle of subtext driven imagery.
