For those of you living under a rock, Childish Gambino dropped a video for his brand-new song “This is America” last night. Directed by Atlanta regular Hiro Murai, the politically-charged video focuses on Glover dancing in a chaotic warehouse. It's chock full of violence, deeper meaning and hidden references.
The 7th act on an album dedicated to the circle of life - "Demise", from "Riverine" by Imploding Stars. An exploration on being left and leaving behind, through a relationship that struggles to hold itself together through communication issues, eventually meeting a point of no return, spiraling the main character down the path further away from her life.

In the film, a dejected Twigs arrives home after a busy commute, asking her HomePod, ‘Hey Siri, play me something I’d like.’ From there, the living room warps and opens up to reveal a rainbow wormhole, with Twigs eventually engaging in a dance-off with a mirror image of herself.
