As BA croons (“Your lips take me to California…”) over his own minimal, hypnotic piano loops, lingering shots of Los Angeles at sunset build to a fiery climax. “Blonde” immortalises the pull of this city’s dark side so powerfully—it’s unclear who is seducing who, but we’ll let the love burn either way.
