“Over the past few years, some of my relatives passed away. The hardest part in this was to watch these people I knew and loved face the disease. In order to connect with them, I took their hand and stared at it. It definitely changes my way of seeing hands.
The first time I listened to “IRIS” by Yovoh, it felt like I saw my last 30 years go by in 3 minutes. From here came the idea to create a sensitive and nostalgic animation based on the hand. I made more than 1400 drawings during 4 intense months of work.”
