"This is our answer to Elon Musk, by launching a domestic car into space. But the story doesn't end there. The plot is based on the story of a great big love, and a sad pilot-samurai, who will not stop at nothing, in order to find his lost love in the corners of the vast universe"

As anticipation builds for I:Scintilla’s upcoming album Swayed, the band has released a second single ‘Boxing Glove’ on all streaming services. On the new single, vocalist Brittany Bindrim’s seductively catchy melodies pour over slinky, hard-hitting grooves penned by bassist Dean Dunakin. With the song’s release comes an official lyric video created by Bindrim. The ‘Boxing Glove’ video features hand-drawn animated lyrics coming to life and hitting screen, the words landing heavy with the weight of power dynamics and introspection.
I:Scintilla’s long-awaited album Swayed, to be released September 21, 2018, is now available for pre-order now through Alfa Matrix via Bandcamp. The new album, recorded and produced by Greg Panciera (Sylvia Massy, Alessandro Cortini of Nine Inch Nails, Dave Bianco), marks the first new music from I:Scintilla in four years and their first full length album since 2010.
"The beautiful black, white and red illustrated animation for Luc’s new music video ‘Glow’ was directed by Vincenzo Lodigiani for the New York-based Dress Code production agency. In a similar linear style than French illustrator Malika Favre, the music video timing is seamless with the song’s beats resulting to a smooth animation from the first to the last frame."

Referencing the sentiment of wilful blinkeredness when the world around you is going to hell expressed in Paul Misraki’s 1935 song from which it takes its title, Jeremi Durand’s latest music video "Madame la Marquise" for French rapper Keny Arkana calls out modern society’s indifference to the destructive path we’re on.
James Blake has quietly returned with a new song called “Don’t Miss It.” His rich vocals carry the lush, piano-driven tune which is a collaborative effort with Mount Kimbie’s Dominic Maker

Arctic Monkeys have released the music video for ‘Four Out Of Five’, and it’s an eerie offering that effortlessly summons the spirit of Stanley Kubrick.
In the video for the The ‘Tranquility Base Hotel And Casino’ track, frontman Alex Turner appears to lose his grip with reality as he walks through a series of locations.
Bright red flashes are seen as he roams the corridors of a stately home, evoking the twisted horror of Kubrick’s cult thriller The Shining.

This video is an exploration of self isolation. It represents a loneliness and depression that can only come from alienating oneself. This depression can be a sinking whole that’s hard to surface from; but it can also be a semblance of peace in an otherwise chaotic world.
