Sigur Rós: Valtari

"Two isolated individuals carnally collide in Swedish director Christian Larson’s collaboration with Antwerp-born choreographer Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui for the orchestral rockers Sigur Rós. "The dancers copy each other’s movements and flow into one another," Cherkaoui explains of the sensual ritual. The video is the 14th in the Valtari Mystery Film Experiment, a series commissioned by the Icelandic band to herald the release of their new album Valtari, giving filmmakers such as Ryan McGinley total creative freedom yet the same budget to interpret the record." Björk: Biophilia App on Kickstarter

Just supported new Kickstarter project by Bjork "Biophilia App"."Back in 2011 Björk’s Biophilia album caused a bit of a stir. As an album it was a multifaceted affair, taking the form of a standard album, a multimedia app that explored the relationship between art and science, a series of global live performances with custom instruments, and an educational program that took up residence in New York among other places.

The latest development in the album’s journey is a Kickstarter project which wants to bring the app to the Android and Windows 8 operating systems. The project will support the Biophilia Educational Program through the apps and through an open-source curriculum guide for Biophilia Educators, who use the app to teach kids about music and science using a format they’re responsive to." says The Creators Project

"the biophilia educational program is a new way to teach children about science and music . it has met with success in many cities , sparking interest from kids and educators all over the world , from south america to east asia to africa . the most interest has come from students from low-income households and schools with underfunded art budgets , and the only way to bring the project to those people is to have biophilia reprogrammed for android and windows 8 . the biophilia educational project is strictly non-profit and volunteer-based , and that’s why we need your help . Scratch Massive – Waiting For A Sign

"The musical productions of Vice, Noisey are back with a new video from Scratch Massive & Koudlam. It’s the track Waiting for a sign that is put into an amazing video. Directed by Edouard Salier, who already signed some videos for music bands like Massive Attack or Justice, the 5 minutes video is quite impressive with absolutely stunning images"

Reptile Youth - My Yoko Ono

What do you get when you blend 37 motion graphics students from Hyper Island with 2.5 days and an image of Willy Wonka’s Oompa Loompa factory? "My Yoko Ono music video entertains the concept that we are all operated by a higher order, becoming ‘Puppets of technology’, entrusting the digital (FB) to archive our secrets. The film opens with a medical journal – design magazine hybrid, meant to simulate parents thumbing through a baby catalogue when gene selecting their perfect child. We switch between worlds, seeing the un-hazardous duo Mads and Esben being birthed to in an incubator, operated by Hyper Island students who rotate facial expressions and manipulate skin types. A collaboration with Lucy McRae and Hyper Island Motion Graphics 13 Stockholm."

Rangleklods - Clouds

"Rangleklods's work was initially sketched out in home country Denmark, but became greatly colored by moving to Berlin in early 2010. Its sound consists of recorded instruments, noises and analogue gear alongside purely digital and intensely programmed patterns intertwining into audioscapes ranging from minimal to 'Wall of Sound'. Both in that regard and composition-wise Rangleklods points just as much backwards towards David Bowie and The Doors as it does forwards, animated by ie. James Holden and The Field."
