Thematically, @Sufferosa is a neo-noir thriller and a satire on the cultural obsession with beauty and youth in the present-day world. The story follows a private eye Ivan Johnson looking for a missing woman. His investigation leads him to Carlos von Braun’s Clinic. This is when the interactive part begins - the user becomes the detective and unfolds the story piece by piece adding suspense and intrigue to a narrative.
In this artistic, non-commercial storytelling experiment the directors duo The Kissinger Twins strive to create a new kind of serialized storytelling in social media. @Sufferosa blends original footage with samples from classic film, literature, and music (Glass Candy, Sonic Youth), taking influences from adventure games.

Forms cleared from any symbolism and metaphoricity, repeatability, monochrome, neutral surfaces, industrial materials and methods of manufacture. ABC seeks to convey the simplified essence and form of objects, cutting offsecondary images and shells. The symbolism prevails based on three main figures also colors, dots and lines”

Just in time of his 115 Anniversary, St.Petersburg (Florida, US) museum of Salvador Dalí brought him back alive using AI technologies
“The exhibition, called Dalí Lives, was made in collaboration with the ad agency Goodby, Silverstein & Partners (GS&P), which made a life-size re-creation of Dalí using the machine learning-powered video editing technique. Using archival footage from interviews, GS&P pulled over 6,000 frames and used 1,000 hours of machine learning to train the AI algorithm on Dalí’s face. His facial expressions were then imposed over an actor with Dalí’s body proportions, and quotes from his interviews and letters were synced with a voice actor who could mimic his unique accent, a mix of French, Spanish, and English.”
“With 45 minutes of newly created footage and thousands of combinations, each visitor gets a different experience. There are scenes that open with him reading the newspaper, with an overlay of the current front page of The New York Times; if it’s raining, he’ll comment on the weather”
“A photographer and digital artist, Cass combines hundreds of singular moments shot in the street and other public locations. In his photos, made in locations ranging from nondescript city streets to college sports arenas, bodies battle for attention, perfectly stopped and coordinated. Cass’s ongoing series Selected People began in 2008 in Brookline, Massachusetts, where he lives”
“To make the compositions, I put my camera on a tripod, take up to a thousand pictures, and compile selected figures into a final photograph that is kind of a still time-lapse. I change nothing — not a pixel. I simply select what to keep and what to omit. It all happened precisely as you see it, just not at the same time”
In a parallel universe our infrastructure and power grid has collapsed. All lines of communication have broken down. In the absence of influence, organic life has started to evolve.
This film is meditation on the creative path and how we as creatives often need to go through hardship and discomfort in order to evolve and grow.

“Everything around and inside us was conceived in a huge explosion of a star billions of years ago… and, probably, recycled from other matrices myriad times. In this eternal carousel of matter, particles gather, form complicated structures and then burst into all directions fusing atoms together and producing new elements and points of view, new colours and patterns of perception. “
“Explosions could be perceived as a destructive force and the process of tearing previously formed matter apart and, therefore, could have negative connotations; however, fundamentally, only the process of breaking familiar structures and rearranging them into new, more sophisticated shapes could kindle new meanings and ideas and be the main creative force forming the future.”

Our second encounter with OFFF Festival was in 2009 where Prologue then lead by Ilya Abulkhanov presented event’s Main Titles in a sci-fi post-soviet “Kin-dza-dza” way. Little did we know that 10 years later, now Mill+ director, Ilya, will be invited to present 15-minutes “ARXIV”, a post human drama and indeed a continuation of original 2009 short movie.
ARXIV is an immersive sci-fi family drama is set in two time frames: the deep future, that is left with no future, and the near future, that will bring about the eventual dystopian collapse of society. Protagonist Lew Aron survives both time frames and is set to discover a potential outlet to confront his innermost desire, or what’s left of it.
Now in its 19th year, OFFF is regarded as one of the world’s most influential creativity festivals. OFFF consists of three-days of conferences, workshops, activities, and performances. It takes place in Barcelona annually, before appearing around the world as ‘OFFF on Tour’ with the next happens in Moscow
