The Instant Lab

With the love to Instaprint project hence it went unsuccessful on Kickstater we look with a hope on another initiative. It is "The Instant Lab" from The Impossible Project (the guys behind Polaroid and its film resurrection), the mix of instant photography of two decades - analogue and digital or Polaroid Camera and iPhone. Watch it and join on Kickstarter!

Illustration of Rory Kurtz

Rory Kurtz has been illustrating since he was old enough to hold a crayon. Self-taught and focusing in pencil, ink and digital paint, Rory has carved out his niche as a unique voice in the illustration community. His influences are spread out across the respective worlds of literature, fashion, art, film and music.

Denim Pavilion identity by Pavel Emelyanov

I think we become addicted by identity works of Pavel Emelyanov and his büro "Eskimo". This time the luck came to unknown but brave Moscovian jeans store "Denim Pavilion" and they get this awesome set of branding as a reward for taking a good challenge with awesome designers.

Drawings of Rupert Smissen

A collection of pencil drawings London based illustrator Rupert Smissen time to time working in collaboration with Rebecca Pomroy. Obsessive with details, double-meanings and beautiful shadows Rupert's works are yet not provoked the industry to step out from Tumblr, I bet this is a matter of time and good illustration agency.

Alex Novoseltsev illustrations

I bet you will enjoy this portfolio of Russian illustrator and digital artist Alex Novoseltsev. It is all about cartooning and awesome techniques of caricature art. Beside the fact that each portrait is a small digital arts masterpiece, they all have a soul and and a grotesque feature of an object whenever it is an actor or celebrity.

The Invisible Bicycle Helmet

We have been following this product since last year from its concept to a real Invisible Bicycle Helmet called "Hödving". Designed by Terese Alstin and Anna Haupt it makes a big steps now on a real market. It's ergonomic, it's practical, it complies with all the safety requirements, and it's also subtle and blends in with what else you are wearing. Worth to mention Invisible Helmet is made for people who prefers good looking to personal safety (yes, you) and especially when riding a bike (have you ever saw a fixed-bike lover with that bulky still safety helmet from a nearby store? No).

Magomed “MAGO” Dovjenko “DOMO ARIGATO” Series

"Domo Arigato" as a series takes a look at the paralleled cultural influences of early childhood many of us have experienced and or have seen exhibited today. Classic Japanese cultural icons are infused with luxury branding brilliantly creating an conversation around the identities of the youth today.Mega Man meets Comme, Sonic meets Louis Vuitton, in a iconoclash that's a truly astute observation of today's influences. We are looking forward to seeing how the series is utilized within the real world. We've included an synopsis about the series directly from the artist Mago as well: "Whether Sailor Moon, Son Goku or Pokemon - all these Japanese anime figures were a big part of our childhood. My biggest inspiration for this project was to combine classic Japanese anime characters with luxury brands like Gucci, LV or Chanel to show the brand affinity of the Japanese culture. The series is also strongly influenced by my unique illustration style I've created over the past few years that is characterized by a strong love for details.Take a closer look and discover my passion for anime and luxury brands."
