Designcollector has been following the career of Pokras since 2012, being one of the first to collaborate with young artist on our annual digital art event Digital Decade. In 2013 and 2015 Pokras took a part in our exhibitions of Digital Decade in Barcelona during famous OFFF Festivals.

Russian artist Pokras Lampas was born in September 1991 in Korolyov, Russia, and today is one of the most distinguished modern calligraphy representatives.

He started creating graffiti in 2008 and soon after was inspired by the “Calligraffiti” movement; hence he turned his focus on street calligraphy. Later, Pokras Lampas was invited to become an official Calligraffiti ambassador while he also was working on & representiong the self-developed “Calligrafuturism” style.

Pokras is actively experimenting with different directions of modern calligraphy by applying and combining his knowledge of street culture, design and typography of different cultures and ages. He is particularly involved in street art projects, exhibitions and other related projects over the World. Artist is taking participation in collaborations with festivals and famous brands such as Lamborghini, YSL, COMME des GARÇONS, FENDI, adidas and many others, a fashion weeks with art-performances, working with the new technoligies like a digital projections, AR & Virtual Reality, Glitch.

Over the past years, Pokras Lampas took part to museums, gallery exhibitions and art projects held in Russia, France, Germany, Italy, Portugal, South Korea, China, UK, USA and UAE.
