FITC returns to Amsterdam, NL, for the third edition of FITC Amsterdam, a bustling two day event that brings together the best and the brightest from the world of Interactive design and development to learn, share and be inspired. The last two previous events, in 2008 and 2009, sold out over a month in advance. This year’s event takes place February 22nd and 23rd and has expanded to a second venue, The Dylan Hotel.
From sound design to stop motion and apps to apparat, FITC Amsterdam cuts across a number of disciplines to deliver new ideas, new methods and new technologies impacting advertising, animation, design, entertainment, motion graphics and rich media. The event includes over 40 presentations covering business, creative, and technical subjects, an optional one-day workshop, and lots of opportunity for face-to-face networking and interaction.
“We’re excited to be back in Amsterdam with an expanded program and international line-up of speakers,” says Shawn Pucknell, FITC’s founder.

Этой осенью 26 сентября в Самаре пройдет второй фестиваль веб-разработчиков 404. В этом году организаторами фестиваля, кроме студии Доминион, будет и Турбомилк. Фестиваль будет еще масштабнее — ожидается 400-500 участников, плюс, немного поменяется формат — будет больше докладчиков и участников со всей России.
На фестивале будет специальная веселая и занимательная дизайнерская секция. Мы хотим чтобы дизайнеры активно участвовали в наполнении фестивале и даем всем желающим несколько минут, чтобы рассказать о своей любимой работе во всех подробностях и без цензуры.
Разговаривать будем не только про дизайн, также про юзабилити, интернет-маркетинг и продвижение, про веб-технологии и интерфейсы.

The Swatch Young Illustrators Award exhibition showcases the newest artist generation. The prize annually awards extraordinary new talents, handpicked by an international jury. It encourages and supports illustrators and graphic designers in their personal work and offers them an international platform. Members of the jury include, among others, Julius Wiedemann (Publisher „Illustration Now“), Olaf Hajek (Illustrator), Caroline Roberts (Grafik Magazine) and Bill Cranfield (IdN). The winners of the Young Illustrators Award 2008 were illustrators Rebecca Manley (GB), Miriam Frei from Switzerland, Christian Montenegro (ARG) as well as Jenny Rope from Finland with her animation work.

USAAA situated in Yekaterinburg, Russia - the leading academy with ID graduation in our country.

The School of Graphic Design at the London College of Communication at the University of the Arts London, is divided into broad 5 disciplines: Information design, Design for Advertising, Typo/graphics, Illustration and Design for Interaction and Moving Image. Many of the disciplines overlap and students are encouraged to be multi-faceted and approach problem solving with a wide range of experimental process methods and research techniques.
