Coldplay feat. Rihanna - Princess of China

When one mainstream hits another you get a mutation of styles and genres. Not sure if we personally liked it but it is up to you."Coldplay has released the official video for their track ‘Princess of China’, featuring Rihanna. The princess is of course played by Rihanna herself in the vintage Kung-Fu inspired video" via High Snobiety

Jay-Z and Kanye West - No Church In The Wild by Romain Gavras

Frankly speaking we are a bit confused, first because "No Church In The Wild" of Jay-Z and Kanye West had perfectly tied up with a soundtrack from the upcoming "The Great Gatsby" movie and reckon it fits the flow well even carrying jargon that never could exist in "roaring twentieths". And second, we are not able to resist Romain Gavras cinematography style packed up with all that social differences and instability showing the history repeating, and hope we all have another "twentieths" and no other Great Crisis after. But as one said that most of the history moments start as drama and then repeat as a farce.

The Great Gatsby trailer & soundtrack

"The mood of the newly released trailer to Baz Luhrmann’s The Great Gatsby is much like the cinematic New Year’s countdown to an apocalyptic drama, ticking away to the pulsating rhythm of Jay-Z and Kanye West‘s “No Church in the Wild”. Luhrmann’s ubiquitous bird’s eye view of a youthful, raging party envisions the social bubble that encapsulates the 1920s equivalent of the contemporary trustafarian, embellished with the fashions and choreography of a bygone era." - read more on Portable TV

Simian Mobile Disco - Seraphim

A bit weird same time awesome new music video directed by Aoife McArdle for Simian Mobile Disco new single "Seraphim" (the first single from upcoming "Unpatterns" 2012 album)

This is the official comment from directors: "Since people are asking - It's a series of scenes of people going over their obsessive-compulsive type behaviours... as to how that refers to our music, on our new album we've been inspired by ideas of repeated loops and patterns breaking down and decaying over time. And the process of making electronic music lends itself to obsessive-compulsive tendencies.."

Noisy Jelly

"French product designer Raphael Pluvinage and food designer Marianne Cauvard have invented a game that allows players to make sounds from jelly. The jellies are formed using gelatin, agar agar powder, water and food colouring - all placed in moulds of varying sizes and shapes. Once set, the jellies are placed on a game board that contains sensors. When the shapes are touched and manipulated, the sensors are triggered and will create different audio sounds. The noise produced is affected by the concentration of salt in the jellies, their shape and the contact pressure."
