BONET is a tribute made by "The 21 Night" studio (Santiago Restrepo Arias) to the Catalan architect Antonio Bonet. Author of a vast work, which tweaks with his genius the geography of Spain and Latin America, which remains a great unknown. Six fragments that project the kaleidoscope of Catalan rationalism, gather and modernise the legacy of architect. It is also a recovery of the dialogue between architecture and light. “Just Say Yes” is a film on the idea of fear being represented as a positive generator, showcased through Héctor Ayuso’s figure (OFFF Festival founder and triathlon athlete) and on how he confronts his own fears by running towards them, through sports triathlons, by simply saying YES.
Based on Héctor’s life motto “just say yes”, the film narrates the story on overcoming risks and turning them into goals. From personal stories to documented sports events, the project includes various collaborations with artists, friends and previous OFFF artists to reflect both creativity and sports lifestyles as we will witness the last biggest fear which Héctor will conquer: Ultraman Florida, an extreme Individual Ultra-Endurance Event.

Imagined and executed by Madrid-based artist, Rómulo Celdran, the artworks entitled HI-RES, are divided into three distinct categories: Solid, Voxel, and Mesh. The goal of HI-RES for Celdran is to emphasise the artist's undying preoccupation with the ever-evolving and limitless possibilities of the 3D virtual world. As the artist explains, its the 3D world's "capacity and plasticity as a valid reference for pictorial and sculptural creation."
Jaime Pitarch creates sculptures, drawings, videos and installations often using humble everyday objects such as a guitar, chair, or household and consumer products. He employs inventive strategies of displacement, re-contextualization and visual punning to peel away at their routine uses and meanings to alter our relationship with such utilitarian items.
Pitarch describes his work as mainly having “… to do with the human being’s inability to identify with the structures he himself has created.” Having been stripped of their functionality, we are free to view them in the alternative narratives the artist provides.
"Andoni Beristain is a photographer and a Creative-Art Director. His shirts are famous, he thinks in the shower, he dislikes heat, he's thorough, symmetrical, colourful and even though he uses humour, he works very seriously. He also likes irony. He's Basque, lives in Barcelona and he knows how to do stuff properly".
Inpired by the 1980's Tango short film by Zbigniew Rybszynski, OFFF Barcelona's 2017 Main Titles are a true beauty. Known for their "high class lo-fi" work profile, Vallée Duhamel duo - Eve Duhamel and Julien Vallée - have took the challenge and decided to work on a one of kind piece to showcase the names of all the speakers who took part of this year's edition followed by a live session of shooting 2,000 paper-planes by the audience during their talk.
As the largest European design festival rolls out on the shores of sunny Barcelona, OFFF team decided to rid off traditional "Open Titles".
This year is a game changer as festival approached its 16th instalment, director Hector Ayuso called up OUTRO Studio and under direction of Marc Castellví with Àlex Monner and Greta Fernández they created a short movie "New Senses". The title corresponds to OFFF 2017 Festival concept.
Outro studio have decided to represent OFFF as an essential element, a brand that provides a formula for a sensorial rebirth - everything you see, hear, taste, touch and smell is a first time experience.
Barcelona-based creative Javier Jaén spends his days illustrating the world around him. For the past three years, Javier has been building a steady reputation via weekly collaborations with The New York Times Magazine.
"It is work that takes the form photo illustrations for a section called “First Words” which considers the ways language shifts and shapes our understanding of the world. The topics covered are vast and complex, from “The Identity Politics of Whiteness” to “How ‘Political Correctness’ Went From Punch Line to Panic.” For three years, it’s been Javier’s job to make impactful visual images to reduce those arguments into a single image."

"Spanish designer/artist, Jaime Hayon's work is infused with a recognizable characteristic humor that goes hand in hand with superior workmanship and artistic integrity. So, it's no surprise that when the Barceló Hotel group asked him to add his unique touch to the redesign of the Barceló Torre de Madrid Hotel the results would be exceptional: The 142 meter tall building was constructed in 1957 and nine of its thirty four floors now house this ambitious hotel which has already become a modern landmark and a compliment to the arty Spanish metropolis it calls home."
