Love for Scandinavian aesthetics, analogue synths and 80s music comes from Heatherwood, a lovely band from Novosibirsk shining in all of its naivity. Maksim and Daria make lo-fi cautious music that would be a good background for any lost youth looking for some sort of activity. Fumbling with old synthesizers, probably found in dad’s garage, these kids produce sweet melodic electronic sounds. Even Daria’s vocals having gone through some effects loses it’s liveliness and simply becomes another synth-like instrument, which make it all the more analogue. It would become a great soundtrack for a road movie, with nothing to lose and a lot to gain.
