“When I was 17, it was a very good year, it was a very good year for the small town girls and soft summer nights…” goes the all-time favourite Sinatra song. Well for this 17 year old it was a very good year for music making. And to think he only started making music last year, Sunik Kim, aka Beat Cultur, garnered himself a massive following already. As says his name, Sunik plays electronic dream dubstep tunes filled with the sound of rain or pouring water for some reason. Probably to make it ever more romantic. This sense of longing for the dream scapes and romance, the seeming innocence however is backed up by some serious beat-making, promising melodies and mature composing.
